My name is Mr. Kerry Day.  I am the owner and proprietor of KAYGEEDEE MINERALS, a Canadian vendorship devoted to the mineral collecting hobby.  I was an economic geologist/mineralogist/SEM-EDS operator for many years.  Now that I am retired I have become a full-time mineral dealer specializing in Canadian minerals. 

I carry thousands of mineral specimens in stock.  Photos of some of these specimens can be found in the categories listed above.  I also have a special page for the Qualitative SEM-EDS service which I offer collectors.

This site is continually updated as old specimens are sold and new specimens are added.  If you had your eye on a specimen and can't find it anymore it has been sold.  Sorry, I do not believe in "Sold" signs.  I will reserve specimens for good customers on a case by case basis.

I ship to any part of the world by CANADAPOST Parcel post (Canada) or Airmail (everywhere else).  Shipping rates are: Canada $11 (unlimited weight); USA $8/500 g; and International $18/500 g.  Discounts are available for heavy orders.  All listed weights include thumbnail boxes or acrylic stands and are for shipping purposes only.  My radioactive minerals will not be shipped outside of Canada.

All prices are quoted in US dollars. All taxes are included in the price.  There are no hidden fees!

I offer a bulk discount of 5% on orders over $200.00; 10% on orders over $350.00; and 15% on orders over $500.00.

Unwanted or damaged material may be returned to me within 30 days at customer's expense for full refund.

The listed dimensions are length x width x height.  All thumbnails are mounted in standard 1&1/4 inch perky boxes.  All photos are taken of dry specimens in sunlight unless otherwise listed. 

If I carry a similar item it's presence will be noted in the photo description as (x_).  Such photos are available only upon request.

Payment must be made before delivery.  Please make check (Canadian or US) or International money order payable to Kaygeedee Minerals.   I accept Western Union money orders and Moneygrams but I do not accept bank transfers.  In all cases please let me invoice you.
